Reading WK8 T4

This week for reading we had to read about what a leader is like in different countries.
After we did some research we had to write about what we found out.

Maths WK8 T4

For maths this week we did exponents and square roots. I enjoyed the task 2 because we got to solve exponents and square roots at the same time.

Maths WK7 T4

This week for maths we had to do some work on bedmas and exponents. We had to do some things online and in our books.

Reading WK7 T4

This week for reading we read about what it was like before women could vote, we had to make a crossword, fill in a table about how they felt and make a cartoon that could show what was happening at the time.

Maths T4 WK6

This week we did lots of subtraction and a bit of Bed-Mas. I really enjoyed task 3 because I got to make a kahoot and do a worksheet on Bed-Mas.

Reading T4 WK5-Gaming Curfew

This week we researched about the pros and cons of gaming and should there be a gaming curfew. I think that there should be a gaming curfew because the cons in my opinion out way the pros. 

Maths T4 WK5

This week we were learning about longitude and latitude. I enjoyed task 2 because I got to find an image and find the longitude and latitude of New Zealand.

Guy Fawkes Writing

Firework is explosive and beautiful

She dyes her hair rainbow it is long and silky 

She can be really loud or super quite 

Rainbows, stars and people are her favourite things because they are amazing like her.

Water and Swimming frighten firework and she wants to run away 

 to people who will watch her put on a show.

This is my writing for this week. The theme was Guy Fawkes so I decided to do
personification writing.

This week we were researching about Guy Fawkes. I liked making the evidence report.

For Maths we had to do lot of work on time. I enjoyed task 1 because we got to do a problem and a online task.

This week for maths we have been working on navigation. I enjoyed task 3 because we got to draw.

This week we had to find words from the books that were connected to the story or we did not know what they mean, then we wrote what they meant.

For reading we had to read about chariot racing. I learnt a lot about it and it was very interesting.

This week we did some work on decimals and multiplication. It was quite fun my favourite was the first task.

In week one for reading we did some work on the rugby world cup and some about journals we read.

Last week for reading we had to read a book called 'on the move' it was about the migration of animals. I really enjoyed the create. 

Nonsense Creature Description

The other week we had to make a nonsense creature inspired by Dr Seuss 'If I Ran The Zoo' mine is half bird and half fish. His name is Finn.
