SLJ-Scaling new heights

For this activity I researched about the SPCA because I really like animals. So then I wrote about what they do and how you can help.

  1. Hey Samantha,

I’m Daniel, one of the blog commenters for the Kootuitui schools in Papakura. I’m really excited to see your posts this week and over the summer and look forward to commenting on your awesome posts.

Your slideshow on the SPCA is awesome, it's great to see that you have learned a bit about them, what they do and why it is important. Then you have put the information you researched in to your own words. Well done.

Do you have any pets? I have a silly dog who escapes a lot and sometimes gets picked up by the SPCA, then we pick him up and the staff are super nice and love to see our dog.

Well done on giving the SLJ activities an awesome start.
Carry on doing an awesome job and I'll see you in the comments.
    Daniel :)

  2. Kia Ora Samantha,

Great to see you start posting for the Summer Learning Journey! You've done a great job and have clearly done your research.

Although I have had several pets myself, I didn't quite know a lot about the SPCA. Your slideshow fortunately told me a lot about the SPCA which is good because that means you've included a lot of helpful information.

If you could do anything to help the SPCA, what would you do? I'd try to do everything I could because I love animals too.

Speaking of animals, I hope your bunnies are doing well!

  3. Hi Samantha

Good job I like how you have decorated your slide show and not just left it plain and boring and also how you have used a cool font

Next time you could maybe add your opinion of the charity and a little more of what you had to do apart from that it is awesome

I also did the same charity as you
    Keep up the amazing work

  4. Hey Samantha and Happy New Year!

I hope your holidays are going well and you’re having lots of fun. I see you haven't posted on your blog in a wee while. There’s still plenty of time left to do what you can and get more points and get those cool prizes that are up for grabs.

Remember that you can go back or skip ahead to do the tasks in any order you like so you can always start with the most interesting ones first.
