The fantail otherwise know as Pīwakawaka lives in Native forests orchards and gardens. They eat mostly Moths flies beetles and spiders, but they sometimes small fruit. they live to about 3 years old |

ReplyDeleteWell done for completing this SLJ activity, 'Bird of the Year!' and for telling us a bit about the fantail. But not only this, THANK YOU for telling us what fantail means in Te Reo Māori. Did you know that there is also another translation for this? It's tīwaiwaka. I absolutely adore the pīwakawaka, I think that they're the cutest and most charming bird I've ever seen.
