Nice job completing another SLJ activity! Thanks for sharing with us what the WWF are doing with the Saimaa ringed seals. You're right, the WWF build snowbanks for the seals to give birth to their pups in. The snowbanks provide a safe warm place for the seals which is away from the open ice. The WWF are having success with the snowbanks because the seals are infact giving birth in them, which is great to hear don't you think? Do you have a favourite sea animal? I think the seals are like the dogs of the ocean. They have a lot of character, much like dogs do.
