SLJ-Giants Among Us

I would like to visit this tree because the walk would be calm and peaceful, also it would be a nice place to go with my family. If I went I would take notes and pictures to share with the class.

  1. Hey Samantha!

Thanks for completing another SLJ activity— you're on a roll! Your writing is excellent— I like how you've provided reason as to why you would like to visit Tāne Mahuta, especially your descriptive language "the walk would be calm and peaceful". I appreciate that you would like to visit this tree with your family as well as use the opportunity to take notes and pictures!

Speaking of pictures— maybe you could edit this post and add a picture of Tāne Mahuta?
Remember to attribute your images— that means that we have to give credit to this image. We can give credit to an image by giving it a correct name (for example: Image of Tāne Mahuta) and saying where it came from (for example: Department of Conservation).

    Looking forward to reading more!

    Cheers

    1. Hey Mehakpreet,

Well done for leaving a thoughtful comment on Samantha's blog post— you're setting an excellent example to the other students. So that we can keep up this great modelling, don't forget that your thoughtful response must be at least 3 sentences long and it must engage with the post, for example "I really like how you told us about Tāne Mahuta. I like how you said you'd like to take pictures to show everyone in the class. Maybe next time you could...."

I'll keep an eye on this post!

      Cheers,

      Jordan.
