SLJ-Restricted Access

I think it's not fair that  tourists who want to see Machu picchu, because they won't end up going. If they already bought plane tickets and you're saying they can't come that's just wasting their money. They also might of wanted to come here for a long time. That's not fair is it.

    Mōrena Samantha,

    Well done for finishing this Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Restricted Access' and for telling us whether or not you think that it is fair that the local government is restricting access for the amount of tourists allowed up to Machu Picchu.
    I can understand your concern for the people who have already paid so much money to visit South America, but I'm sure that they would be notified on whether or not they can climb Machu Picchu before they pay for their tickets. I believe that the matter is to try and conserve the natural environment of Machu Picchu. If this is damaged beyond repair, then no one will be able to visit. What do you think about that?
