I would like to try weaving because it would be very practical. I could make bags with them so I could use those instead of plastic bags so I could save the planet. I would make great gifts and decorations.

It is such a useful skill to have— last year my whaea (aunty) taught me how to weave. I sat with her for about 3-4 hours and wove my own wallet. I'm so happy to hear that you'd use your skill to weave bags so that you would not have to use plastic bags anymore. Speaking of plastic bags, did you know that most major supermarkets no longer stock single-use plastic bags as of yesterday? What do you think about that?
